This is an example of an invitation from last year. If you have any plants to share, please send me a note with information.
Thanks!

Greetings fellow gardeners,
I will be trimming several plants in my garden next week and will be happy to share the trimmings with you. I'm also willing to demonstrate how to propagate all of them so that you can take them home and grow them in your own gardens.
Here's a list of the plants:
Begonia Alba (begonia grandis evansiana
Chenille plant (alaupha hispida)
Copperleaf plant (acalypha)
Firebush (hamelia patens)
Firespike (odonotonema strictum)
Anthurium hookerei (sprouted new plants)
Red Ginger
Pink Ginger
Brazilian Cloak ( megaskenpasma erythrochlamys)
You can find photos and information about each on Google. They're some of my favorites because they're so easy to grow. Once these plants are established in the garden they are drought and cold tolerant. They're durable and colorful. The firespike attracts hummingbirds during the spring and fall when they're migrating. Both firespike and firebush attract butterflies.
If you're interested, please drop by my house on Wednesday, October 28 at 4:30. You're invited to stay for socially distanced Happy Hour on my patio. Bring something to eat or drink. Due to Covid restrictions, I'll accept the names from the first 15 who are interested in staying for Happy Hour.
Hope to see you then!
