Outline for Morikami Museum an Gardens Trip for CGGC
Date: Wednesday, April 2, 2025
Drive time: 1 hr. 7 min. (we will be going opposite of heavy traffic)
Leave ITCB parking lot: 8:45 AM. (latest 9:00- if you are not there on time ---we leave without you). NO REFUNDS ON WHAT YOU PAID
Cost: $60 includes. Entrance fee, Bento Box lunch (either Classic or Vegetarian), bottle of water, and Kimono Demonstration
Payment by Friday, February 28, 2025.

Check is your reservation. We have a “cutoff” of 40 members who can participate in the trip.
Also includes Classic Bento Box or Vegetarian Bento Box selection. No selection, you will be assigned the Classic Box.
Schedule: 8:45 - AM leave ITCB ---
arrive Morikami 10:00 AM
10:15 – 11:45 Docent tour of gardens and gift shop (Docents are limited)
12:00 - 12:45. Bento Box lunch at Cornell Café
1:00 – 2:30. Kimono Demonstration
Arrive back in Coconut Grove – approximately 3:45
Car Assignments: Clary Cabal
Names of people going to Morikami will be given to Clary by March 1, 2025 and people will be assigned to cars of those people who have volunteered to drive at the March 13, 2025 meeting. If you have special requests ---contact Carly.
Bento Box selection numbers will be given to Patti Elias
Two types of Bento Boxes (Classic and Vegetarian). You can sign up for which you prefer ----must be completed with check by February 28, 2025. Otherwise, you receive Classic Bento Box.

CLASSIC: (left picture)
An assortment of white rice, teriyaki chicken, teriyaki salmon,
chicken dumplings, red shrimp with golden friend tofu, chicken egg roll, sautéed mixed vegetables, assorted sushi rolls.
VEGETARIAN: (right picture)
An assortment of white rice, sautéed mixed vegetables, steamed edamame, Asian eggplant in garlic sauce, vegetarian spring roll, golden fried tofu, and vegetarian sushi rolls.
